Free Comic Book Day is a 11 days away. It is always a crazy crazy day. Weather permitting, I am going to try to make even more use of the outside space of the store. And I am adding a 2nd register to try to keep the line smaller. But to accomplish this, I need help. Nothing too complicated. Mostly just crowd control. Showing where the free stuff is (no, not the stuff on the walls. That would make it Going out of Business Day), letting people know what they can have (just one of each, please) and passing out bags. Refilling books on the table or condensing once something runs out. Running to find an empty box or get more register paper. I’ll need someone to run the points card machine. And someone to man the grill.
Now, I’m not asking anyone to do this all day long. If you can stop by for an hour to help it will be greatly appreciated.
So if you have some time, please stop by. If you can let me know ahead of time, I’d appreciate it so I am not in panic mode opening the store that day.
