Harvest #1:
Say you’re a down on your luck surgeon. A patient died on the table and it was your fault. You lose your license. What are you going to do? How about deal with a shady operation harvesting organs from unwilling donors? Nice and creepy and dark. Good stuff.
Infected #1:
Part horror, part science, part FBI/CIA book. Got a little bogged down on the science of an infection taking over the victims bodies, but still interesting.
Debris #1:
Clean Riley Rossomo art with color. Not used to that. Very nice. Future survivalist group trying to stay safe from mechanical birds and giant robot dragons. The new protector has been installed and must find a source of water. Very interesting. I doubt my description really does it justice. But I liked it and I’m looking forward to #2.
Revival #1:
Small Wisconsin town. Winter. Apparently some people are coming back from the dead and going back to their regular lives. Called “Revivers”. Is it God’s work? Is it something else? The town is quarantined while they investigate just what is going on. Really quite cool.
Secret #2:
Hickman. Industrial espionage. Big picture book. Might be tough in issues. I had trouble remembering which characters were which, but it is quite interesting. Will make a good trade.
Secret History of DB Cooper#1:
Yeah, I know this is late, but I brought home the first 5 issues to read. The store of the bank robber from the early 70s. Apparently it involves the CIA, drugs and a teddy bear. Didn’t follow what was going on, but I’ll give it a few more issues to see what all the fuss is about.
