If you're not familiar, Beverly’s Birthdays, a Pittsburgh nonprofit organization, provides birthday cheer for children experiencing homelessness and families in-need. The Champions of Cheer campaign, which launched last spring, is a youth leadership initiative for children ages 7ish - 15 who are interested in making a difference in their community. These talented kids are putting together fundraising efforts to raise awareness for Beverly's Birthdays and to make sure that every child gets to celebrate their birthday each year.
During the campaign, we'll have a sign and collection box posted near the front of the store for anyone to donate toys, books, games, or any other items that can help make these birthdays special. All of the items should be unwrapped and unopened.
In addition, we'll be offering DOUBLE POINTS on any items you donate that are purchased from the store. We still have our Fall Clearance sale going on, so it couldn't be easier to make a difference in the lives of these children.
