Since Sean is heading to the Emerald Isles, we don’t need to coordinate around him. It makes sense to hold the “Best of the Year discussion until 12/28.
So, I was thinking that for this week we’d hit the rest of the Previews. So things don’t bog down and take the whole time, look through it and mark 4-5 things that caught your eye in a good or bad way. I will spotlight somethings of interest that I find.
Also this week I thought we’d try something new. I want to turn you all into salesmen. I want you to pitch a book to us (and the folks at home, car, internet). It could be a comics or a graphic novel that you think everyone should read or be reading. Old or new. Think of Joe F when preparing. I want that kind of energy! (Matt – I was thinking you could do Last of the Greats). Nothing super elaborate (flow charts and such), but more than just “Its got a good beat and you can dance to it.” I know we’ve done this on the fly, but preparation may not be a bad thing. Or at least thinking about it a little.
I would love to talk a little bit about Defenders #1, only because it has been sooooo hyped (Fear Itself epilogue, Point One story, preview book), I want to see what every one thinks about it.
