I figure this is a good time to do an explanation of the Previews Catalog:
Every month, Diamond Comic Distributor publishes a catalog of the items available to order. Most items will be available two months from then, some like toys and statues will arrive much later. It is the only way I have to know what is coming out from all of the publishers all at once. (There is an online version too, but I prefer to read the paper version on the sofa. I guess I’m old school) The catalog used to be for retailers, but it has morphed into something trying to appeal to both retailers and customers, and for that it has become a big mess. I will explain that further when we go through it and I will tell you what I am looking for when I read it.
I give away the Previews to anyone who asks, first come first served. They cost me about $3 each, so I can’t order unlimited amounts, but I do know that it is the single best way to get information to you all in order to get feedback to make my orders.
So if you are interested, grab a copy and come down and will talk about what all is in there, good and bad.
